Aimee Snowden is an agricultural educator on a mission to turn the children of today into a community of ag-literate adults of tomorrow. She hails from an family irrigation farm in the Southern Riverina, New South Wales, Australia, and completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management from Charles Sturt University (CSU).
Having worked in agriculture and education programs across Australia, Aimee connects her online community with food and fibre production using LEGO. In 2014, she started sharing photos of a LEGO farmer minifigure online, aptly named the LEGO Farmer, to celebrate Australian agriculture, which now forms part of Little BRICK Pastoral. Aimee was awarded a 2023 Nuffield Australia Scholarship, supported by AgriFutures Australia, to research immersive models for agricultural education and engagement around the world. Her report was published in November 2024.
