Visited LEGOLand Florida today! Miniland provided the opportunity to explore seven cities and famous landmarks across the USA. Built at 1:20 scale, and using some 32 million LEGO bricks, the level of detail is impressive (and no minifigures - that's 1:40)!

We've wrapped up our Nuffield Australia Global Focus Program travelling through Singapore, India, Qatar, Germany and the USA over the last 33 days. It's been an incredible look at global agriculture! We're bound for the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Florida next week, and loved the LEGO Liberty Bell at Philadelphia International Airport.  We have arrived in the United States of America! After spending a quick two days in Washington DC, we're now exploring the agricultural diverse state of Pennsylvania including the tomato variety trials at Penn State.  Our Nuffield Australia Global Focus Program has arrived in Germany. During our quick Berlin visit, we caught up with the German Farmers' Association (Deutscher Bauernverband) to learn more about the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union, and then headed to the German Parliament (Reichstag).  It's been incredibly insightful to explore Qatar's farming in the desert from dairy to red meat, flour milling to hydroponics. The investment is remarkable. And with that the innovation in their farming practices can filter throughout the world.  Our Nuffield Australia Global Focus Program has arrived in Qatar. We took in the Doha skyline with a Dhow Cruise, and a swim in the Persian Gulf.  Incredible few days in the diverse agricultural state of Pubjab, India, as part of the Nuffield Australia Global Focus Program. We've covered wool processing, potatoes, peppermint, capsicum, melons, turf, dairy cows, buffalo and goats, honey, seed production, apples, rice, and nursery production. We were welcomed to Biocarve Seeds with beautiful Marigold Garlands.  |
