The Dairy Cattle have arrived at the Easter Show for the 2018 Sydney Royal Cattle Show. The Dairy Paraders' Competition is on from 1pm today on the Cattle Lawns.

Sydney Royal Easter Show is hosting the National Finals of the Australian Young Farmer Challenge tomorrow! Be sure to catch all the action from 7:30am in the Schmidt Arena - with the Regional and State Finals up first, and then the National Finals from 4:30pm.
Come down to the Amphitheatre from 2pm today to catch the 2018 The Land Sydney Royal Easter Show Showgirl Competition announcement and the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW's Rural Achiever Presentations.
A special shout out to our local, Finley Show Society Showgirl, Maicie Close, and fellow ABC Heywire Trailblazer, representing Rydal Show, Alana Black. Good luck to all the girls today! Currently, Australians discard up to 20 per cent of the food they purchase - that’s like coming home and putting every 5th bag of groceries straight in the bin!

Did you know the feature breed this year is the Hereford? And if you're heading to this year's show, be sure to go along the Animal Walk and don't forget to check out this year's new display - the Farm of the Future. This weekend, thanks to the Women on Farms Gathering in the Mornington Peninsula, we got the opportunity to hear from other women in agriculture, visited local farms and a school agricultural program, and explored the local area.
And when you're right on the ocean - you can't not go out on the water! We're heading off to the Sydney Royal Easter Show for another year!
