International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day.

It gives us a chance to reflect and celebrate all the women who have played a part (whether big or small) in our journey, and to say thank YOU!

This takes me back to the role my Mother played on our farm. Up at 4am to assist my Dad with the milking and so often with the summer rains, squelching or stuck in the muddy manure mire to get the cows into the stalls. Her day didn't stop until late evening, but she always found time to give to the community.
Like so many farmer's wives, a very special woman.

Your mother sounds like an incredible woman. And like so many farmer's wives was very much the backbone of the farm, her family, and the community.
