Have you entered the National AgDay Careers Competition?? The competition is a collaboration between the Archibull Prize, Career Harvest, and ourselves, ahead of National AgDay on November 21. We created and photographed 10 STEM Agricultural Careers LEGO Characters (just like our agribusiness banker here) for students to use as part of the competition. Or you can create your own! Yesterday, we caught up with Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources Hon David Littleproud MP to talk about careers in agriculture, ag education and our involvement with This is Aus Ag. We also chatted about irrigation and hay farming! It was great to share my passion for celebrating the diversity of careers in agriculture with the Minister, and the work we are doing with the Archibull Prize and Career Harvest with our Careers in Agriculture competition in the lead up to National Ag Day. Before we know it, it will be harvest time again!  Earlier this week social media for 'This is Aus Ag' launched... This is Aus Ag is a project created by the National Farmers' Federation (NFF) 2030 Leaders program participants to be presented to the NFF on the 16 October 2018 in Canberra. We currently have a Facebook and Instagram account so you can follow our progress - including our visits to each other's farms and workplaces around Australia via LEGO characters! They popped into #thelegofarmer to inspect some hay!  |
